My name is Gavin Dinkel and this is my virtual portfolio for my professional and personal work.
My Personal Story
Since I was very young I’ve always loved music more than anything else. As I’ve grown older, the art of music has allowed me to love other forms of art; mostly writing and literature. My love of music has only deepened alongside my passion for writing and philosophy. I hold the classics close to my heart and strive to carry on their style, message and cultural significance.
My Professional Story
After graduating from Towson University in 2021 with my English/Creative Writing degree, I learned my passion for generating readable, insightful content for businesses and non-profit organizations. My ultimate goal in this endeavor is to uplift and support voices that need to be heard online and around our local communities (As well as express mine).
I currently work full time at Dinkel Business Development as a Content Manager along with my father. This position allows me to work with a wide variety of industries around Baltimore City and Maryland as a whole. I’ve had experience working with non-profits, tech start-ups, finance and many others and I believe this well-rounded view gives me an edge above the others.
My Approach
When it comes to creating great content, it’s all about reaching out to the right people with the right voice. The content I create is personal, impactful and is curated to your exact needs.
My approach to content marketing is not to hastily craft daily Facebook posts about the next made-up holiday or celebration, it’s about creating a brand to increase your influence, notoriety and overall success.
When it comes to non-professional works, I want to bring back a style that has sadly been lost. The works of classic American authors is the backbone to our modern culture and philosophies. It is swiftly being taken from us and I will do what I can do preserve what was once great.
